David Klingerman
David Klingerman began his career at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied Film Scoring.
From there, he moved to Cincinnati where he ran a homeless men's shelter for 4 years.
During that time, he taught himself to shoot and edit video and started his first production company, Five Stone Productions.
He attended Cincinnati State, graduating Summa Cum Laude in Audio/Video Production, and taught himself 3D motion Graphics.
He gained attention from film producers and was hired to produce EPK for over 20 Hollywood Feature Films.
He co-founded the studio Storyocity, serving the ad community of Cincinnati and winning several prestigious awards.
In 2022, David pursued his biggest project to date. He travelled to Kakakmega, Kenya to film a full feature documentary titled "Waterpot."
“Waterpot” is a step into Martha Akumu’s life: a woman who has endured her entire 50 years without access to clean water and the domino effect it has taken on every aspect of her life.
The film is currently in production. David returned to Kakamega in late 2023 to finish principal photography. The film is expected to be finalized in early 2024.
